Marvel Champions announces Valkyrie as Next Hero

MARVEL CHAMPIONS: The card game will add Valkyrie as your next playable hero. Fantasy Flight Games announced that he would launch the Package of Hero Valkyrie in the coming months. Valkyrie's skills focus on trying to send subjects quickly in devastating combos in a single round. Valkyrie is the 17th pack of heroes released for the game and the second hero that will be launched after a long cycle of heroes of guardians of the galaxy aggregated to coincide with two expansions of the campaign that focus on the cosmic side of the universe Marvel.

Marvel Champions: The card game is a living card game, with new content added to the game every month. Players choose a single main hero and build a deck using exclusive letters from that hero, basic letters that can be added to any deck and letters from one of the four different aspects. The game comes with independent scenarios to play, as well as campaigns that give the player the opportunity to update the cards and earn powerful bonuses as it progresses in history.

The signs letter from Valkyrie is Death-Glow, a condition letter that Valkyrie can attach to an enemy for 1 energy. DEATH-GLOW does not impact an enemy directly, but every time Valkyrie defeats an enemy that has death-glow attached, she is preparing immediately, which means that he can potentially perform multiple actions in a turn. The Valkyrie improvement letters also provide improved attack and defense statistics when he faces an enemy with Death-Glow, and he can take Death-Glow from one villain to another changing to the alter-ego of him.

Other letters included in the ValkyRie deck include an ally letter of Thor and a Throg's ally letter, which are more powerful if they are played when Valkyrie is committed to a subjector. These ally cards are aggression aspect charts that can be incorporated into any deck, not only Valkyrie, which further expands the construction options of a player's decks.

Interestingly, the Némesis of Valkyrie, a villain who enters several scenarios to complicate things, was not named in the announcement of this package.

A launch date was not announced for Valkyrie Character Deck, but it is likely that its launch will arrive at the end of this year.
