50% of Netflix users see anime on the platform
Throughout last year, Netflix expanded its anime catalog with up to 40 more productions, some originals and others do not. This movement turned out to be quite beneficial for the streaming platform, since a new report mentions that more than half of its users have enjoyed some anime production, whether in series or film format.
According to information about Variety , Netflix reported that half of its users normally consume animate constantly, indicating that this type of productions came to the platform to stay. The interesting thing here is that Netflix also considers anime to Western animation productions, when the anime usually denominates it as something that comes exclusively from Japan .
And speaking about this country, there 90% of netflix users consume anime and Top 10 of the series and movies more views are generally full of anime. During the Convention AnimeEypan 2022, Netflix mentioned that they will continue to expand their anime productions, as well as they also intend to bring some classic franchises to this service.
Editor's note: Netflix definitely hit when they decided to expand their anime production. Yes, maybe not all the projects of this platform have gone so well, but I think that until now we have not had any bordy, so things are on the right track. It is a pity that the Anime de Castlevania has been canceled, but at least we will have a spinoff.
